Much to the chagrin of Granddad, Riley starts to walk, talk, and dress like his favorite rapper, Gangstalicious. Riley arranges for rappers Thugnificent, Flo-Nominal, and Macktastic to collaborate with Gangstalicious on a remix of his new hit song, “Homies over Hoes.” But when rumors surface about Gangstalicious being gay - following in the footsteps of gay rapper Booty B - Riley’s world is turned upside-down.

I love this episode. The entire thing was so funny. And the ending when Riley was crying with Robert, was so tender. I started crying myself. Then when Riley confronted Gangstalicious, and he spared Riley’s feelings by denying he was gay, that just did it for me. Riley Wuz Here might have just been bumped off of my favorites list.

And Riley is a very sweet boy, not to mention that he and his voice are adorable. And in case you were wondering, Riley is not gay. He is just doing what most eight year olds do, impersonating their idols. Despite that, those outfits were pretty ridiculous.

Well this episode shows that the Black community looks down upon gays. We are backwards in terms of homosexual progression. If a rapper is gay, so what? He is just a human being that happens to like his own sex. Does it make him a devil? Does it make him the worst person in the world? Thus the Black community better grow up on how they treat gay men. I, personnaly, am not gay but I am in favor of progressing humanity. So basically to every person out there who shuns upon gays, GROW UP.

Hell yeah, Cindy and A Pimp Named Slickback in the same episode. Need more of BOTH in The Boondocks.
This is probably one of the better episodes released recently. It actually has a cohesive story line that involves the Freemans (present day).

Woow….that episode was funny from beginning to end. “Hang that up for me Boo Boo” lmaoo I was crying. And for the people who are taking this episode too seriously…its just jokes. Sure they shine some light on some controversial issues but in the end it is just made to get a few laughs. All in all, I love this epiode. DO the Homie!!! Lmaoo..

they appear to be getting worse. the first series was much funnier than the second (so far) i think the best ep of this season was the first one, it kept the shows motif, but they sorta started gettin worse from their. although home alone was a good en.
that was really gay. XD
still tho, this was better than the catcher freeman ep.

Oh shit, gangstalicious is so gay, was obvious from the beginning of his first epsiode. Always makes me laugh though, “do the homie.” That shit was crazy, have to be mad to not like this episode. Ruckus wasn’t even as annoying as normal.

This is definitely my favorite season 2 episode. It was hilarious and that “Do the Homie” song was disturbingly catchy. lol
Oh yeah, imo, Riley took Gangstalicious’s style up to a whole other level. He had the walk and he was doing his nails. I still think that Riley could possibly be more feminine than he ever let on because of those two things there. If he was just wearing the clothes and enhancing the fashion, I wouldn’t have thought anything of it, but the fact that he had that walk and doing his nails, I can’t help but wonder.

Love Aaron McGruder. His messages are blatant, sometimes subtle. Yes, the black community demonizes gay men and women. It is the ultimate insult. But I also think it is interesting that no one picked up that while it is the ultimate insult to black male masculinity to call him gay, it’s okay to call women bitches– a totally different species of mammal! The rappers get their fame and money from defaming black women as female dogs and hoes, but no one can call them gay. Oh no!
Grandad was so worried that Riley was gay, but since the first season, Riley has referred to women as bitches without concern. Has Riley ever said women or girls and not bitches??

Oh, & A Pimp Name Slickback… “a turkey sandwich with just a little tomato… definitely!” This episode was funny but the ending was whack. Overall, I’d give it like a 6. Definitely not the best I’ve seen but still pretty funny.

Some people think the rapper is Cam’ron because of all the pink, or 50 Cent just because of how they portrayed Gangstalicious in the first season. But some say he’s making reference to Lil’ Wayne…(the girl who exposed Gangstalicious is an obvious reference to some video chick who turned and wrote a few books that got her famous…she was rumored to be engaged to Lil Wayne)

I absolutley loved A Pimp Named Slickback in this episode. The topic was real and the connection between gangsta rap and homosexuality is something serious. Though I don’t agree with the episode, I love McGruder’s use of hyperbole. I found this episode hilarious, it’s the best one for me so far this season.
Oh, and I don’t think Gangstalicious is supposed to be Lil Wayne, it’s got to be someone else.

to me, this is by far the best episode this season. i have a feeling that there will be a part 3 because riley is cool with both gangstalicious and thugnificent… smells like “rap beef nigga”. plus, riley never officially said that he was gay, he said “i might be…” and after gangstalicious lied to him… this is the last part of the story.
anyway, i don’t think gangstalicious is directly towards anyone — but there are elements of lil wayne, cam’ron, 50 cent, and fabo — but i don’t believe it’s a diss to none of them

-Lil Wayne, with the kissing another man part
-Camron, with the pink clothing fad
-Tupac and 50 cent, with the (i got shot again)part
-50 cent, with the popular clothing line
-Kanye West, with the Jesus chain and refusing the respond when Camron called him gay publicly
-JaRule cuz “super head’ was all on his nuts in the book too and because of his similar fall from grace after the beef wit 50, it was like Gangstalicious’ fall from grace after he was called gay.

It’s been 3 weeks since the last episode. Is Season 2 finished or what??? If it is, they need to go ahead and put it on DVD. I missed the entire second season and didn’t learn about Adult Swim and all that other *hit until now.
As soon as I found out that this comic strip was a cartoon show, I went to best buy real quick and copped the Season 1 DVD. Somebody let me know what’s good….
